The King’s Coronation in Blackpool
There’s plenty to do in Blackpool to celebrate the King’s Coronation throughout May! Visit Madame Tussauds to see their new life-like figure of His Royal Highness King Charles III as he takes his place among the other royals immortalised in wax at the attraction. The Blackpool Tower is celebrating a British way of life with the Blackpool Tower Eye being transformed into the highest garden in Blackpool, with inspiration taken from traditional English gardens, and as always, the Blackpool Tower Ballroom is the perfect place to enjoy Afternoon Tea fit for a King!*
7th May will see the whole town coming together for a day of celebrations along the promenade and in front of the Tower where you can enjoy picnics, live acts, a screening of the Coronation Concert and some very special illuminations.

Join Peppa on her aquarium adventure!
In an exciting nationwide event, Peppa Pig is heading to SEA LIFE Blackpool for an amazing Aquarium Adventure! Come and meet Peppa as she dives into her adventure and makes friends with some of the oceans most incredible animals.
There’s a fun interactive trail at SEA LIFE Blackpool aquarium where little piggies can help to spot seahorses, count starfish, learn about how fast sharks can swim, as well as a variety of fun activities.
Bring your little ones to see Peppa from 3rd April – 21st May and jump into an aquarium adventure this Easter!

Madame Tussauds Blackpool
To mark the Coronation of our new monarch King Charles III, a brand-new wax figure has been created which will be launched over the Coronation weekend and will have pride of place in the Royals section of the attraction.
The new King Charles III figure, which will be dressed in HRH’s trademark pin-stripe grey suit, will join first in line to the throne William, Prince of Wales, Catherine, Princess of Wales, as well as his late mother, Her Majesty the Queen.

The Blackpool Tower Eye

Blackpool Tower is in bloom with a wonderful garden in the sky! Head 380ft up to the highest garden in the North West!
The beautiful garden in the sky takes inspiration from the seasonality of English gardens and includes displays of artificial flowering plants and trailing vines.
Begin your visit by experiencing the incredible 4D cinema and let the special sensory effects and incredible filming bring the history of The Blackpool Tower to life in front of your eyes.
Then take a trip 380ft in the air and experience the Skywalk as you’ve never seen it before! Step out onto the transparent floor and look out onto the Irish Sea above Blackpool’s famous promenade, surrounded by beautiful foliage.
The garden will transform throughout the year with changing seasons. Starting in April with beautiful cherry and apple blossoms or visit in July and August to be surrounded by the bright sunflowers of summer. As the weather turns in September, don’t miss the autumnal wonderland of crisp golden leaves and pumpkins.
The Tower Top Garden is included with all standard Tower Eye tickets will be part your experience if you visit The Blackpool Tower Eye from 29th April until 5th November.
