FRIDAYS ANNOUNCES FAMILY FUN DAY IN CHELMSFORD THIS WEEKEND
American inspired food and cocktail chain, Fridays, to host family fun day at its newest flagship restaurant.
· Located in the heart of Chelmsford, the restaurant is the perfect place for families to get together and enjoy all that Fridays has to offer.
· Children can enjoy circus acts and balloon modellers at the family fun day.
· Family fun day to take place on Saturday 21st May, with circus acts performing from 12-4pm.
Fridays, part of newly listed Hostmore plc, is hosting a family fun day at its newest flagship restaurant Chelmsford, Essex, on Saturday 21st May.
The new Fridays restaurant, on Springfield Road in the heart of Chelmsford, opened its doors to the public on Friday 13th May. To celebrate the opening, all the fun of the circus will be on display outside the restaurant on Saturday. With entertainment throughout the day celebrating Fridays’ founder Alan Stillman’s inspiration of the red and white stripes of the Barnum & Bailey circus, including jugglers, balloon modellers, acrobats, and stilts – for all the family to enjoy. Inside, families can dine in the new restaurant and enjoy the delicious range of famous Fridays favourites, such as the renowned Fridays® Sesame Chicken Strips.
The Chelmsford restaurant is Fridays’ 87th UK venue. It has enough seating for more than 250 covers inside, with an additional 26 covers available outside in its al-fresco dining section. Fridays expects the new look store to become the home of family get togethers in Chelmsford.
Beyond the family fun day, guests at the new look Fridays Chelmsford will be able to enjoy live sport (including Sky Sports and BT Sport) and bundle deals mid-week.
The launch comes not long after the launch of Fridays’ new and best ever menu in which it celebrates its heritage through quality, simplicity and relevancy. Dishes are freshly made to order with top-quality ingredients and new and classic cocktails full of energy & theatre are all handcrafted by its expert bartenders.
