BeWILDerwood Cheshire Named Visitor Attraction of the Year!
BeWILDerwood Cheshire has been voted Visitor Attraction of the Year, taking the top spot with high competition from the likes of Chester Zoo, The Ice Cream Farm and Jodrell Bank.
Marketing Cheshire described the “attention to detail and friendly staff” as the one of the standout features at BeWILDerwood Cheshire and it seems visitors agree…
Jen J on Tripadvisor said “This is one of the best days out I’ve had with the kids. The place is just amazing, so much to do and so relaxed”.
Another commented “A brilliant and imaginative adventure park, full of wonderful activities. Our 6-year-old had a tremendous day running around, and particularly loved the zip wires and sky maze. The staff were fantastic - one took us to an activity at the start of the day and throughout they all went out of their way to help and engage with our son. Will definitely be going back!” Rob C, Tripadvisor.
The outdoor adventure park opened in April 2021 and is a full day of family fun. Set in 70 acres of enchanted woodland, the attraction is based on a magical book series. Visitors can walk in the footsteps of the curious characters from the books and learn all about them as they venture through the woods. Full of imagination and hints of the stories, BeWILDerwood is also home to plenty of adventure with giant slippery slides, extra long zip wires, muddled mazes, jungle bridges and much, much more!
Unlike any other attraction, the award-winning woods really make for a unique day out in Cheshire and is something every family should experience!
It’s safe to say that the team at BeWILDerwood are extremely happy to have been crowned Visitor Attraction of the Year, with author and creator Tom Blofeld saying,
“We’re absolutely thrilled to have won this award; it means so much to us all! When BeWILDerwood came to Cheshire, we knew competition was high, with so many great attractions nearby. So, to have won this award and be recognised as the visitor attraction of the year is just fantastic!”
He continued,
“We know that with the cost-of-living crisis people are struggling and they want to get the most out of their pennies. At BeWILDerwood every single thing is included in the ticket price. So that’s free face painting, free shows, free crafts, free activity sheets, car parking, you name it! Plus, you will spend all day here.
We always get feedback about what great value it is, as once you’re here there are no additional costs, like you so often get on a day out. We just want everyone to have the same wonderful BeWILDerwood experience, that’s why including so much in our entry ticket is so important to us. We really do hope those that still haven’t visited the woods will come along and see what all the fuss is about – we have lots on for Easter, including a Pesky Bunnies egg hunt!”
So why not experience the Visitor Attraction of the Year and plan a trip to BeWILDerwood Cheshire. Since opening, the woods have been known to sell-out on a regular basis so if you have a special date in mind it’s best to book your tickets online in advance.
