Devon holiday park launches outdoor swimming pool for family fun
Cofton Holidays opens outdoor swimming pool as temperatures soar for the May half-term
Cofton Holidays is excited to announce the opening of their large outdoor swimming pool to the public from today as temperatures in Devon are set to soar into the mid 20Cs over the May bank holiday and half-term.
Visitors to Cofton Holidays this half-term can also enjoy the park’s large indoor pool, in addition to group swimming classes, individual swimming lessons, a hot tub, sauna and steam room. Other outdoor activities available at Cofton Holidays include an exhilarating high ropes experience in the park’s woodlands, as well as cycling, hiking, camping, and fishing.
“We’re very excited to be opening our pool to the public in time for the May half-term. The hot weather combined with the May half-term means that we are currently seeing lots of interest in outdoor swimming for this time of year, with many holidaymakers also looking to enjoy active pursuits with us such as cycling, hiking, and our new high ropes experience,” said Chris Jeffery, Director at Cofton Holidays.
Holidaymakers opting for a short break at Cofton Holidays this half-term will also be pleased to hear that South Devon has been named as Britain’s top holiday spot for reliably hot and sunny weather. Cofton Holidays’ new study analysed Met Office weather records for the UK’s 25 most popular holiday spots, revealing that the region has a high number of annual ‘sunshine hours’ and strong average yearly temperatures compared to other destinations.
Entry to Cofton Holidays' outdoor swimming pool is complimentary for guests staying at the park, with prices for day visitors starting from £6.50 per day. Opening hours are from 10am until 6pm each day (subject to availability, weather permitting).
