The Bucket & Spade Café to Host Spooktacular Children's Halloween Party

If you’re looking for a ‘fang-tastic’ venue to celebrate Halloween with the children, head to the Bucket & Spade Café on Thursday, 31st October. Located in the heart of Shaldon, this family-friendly café will provide a fun and safe environment for local children and their families to celebrate Halloween. The party, which will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, promises an afternoon of thrills and excitement with a range of arts and crafts activities for kids of all ages. Guests can look forward to a variety of Halloween-themed foods including: Mummy dogs, Haunted Pizza, Spaghetti brains and Jack-o-Lantern burgers, followed by an array of delicious sweet treats.

There will be extra sweets for the spookiest, cutest, and most creative outfits!

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book your table to guarantee entry. Families are encouraged to bring their little monsters, witches, and ghosts for an afternoon filled with spooky fun! 

Adults can order from the new menu. Expect popular family favourites with the focus on locally-sourced produce and many vegan and gluten free options available. Fresh and local fish dishes and West Country beef feature on the menu alongside light bites and healthy salads with their popular traditional Sunday lunch. A wide selection of artisan local beers, wines and spirits are available from the well-stocked bar.

Based at Coast View Holiday Park in Shaldon, the Bucket & Spade Café is open to on-site lodge owners and members of the public. 

It’s also a popular venue for ‘work club’. For a small cost of £8 per day, you can use the Bucket & Spade’s Wi-Fi, enjoy unlimited tea and coffee and parking is free. With spectacular panoramic views over the Jurassic coastline, it’s the perfect backdrop so you won’t even feel like you’re working

Open seven days a week, Coast View Holiday Park members can enjoy the beautifully warm indoor swimming pool or if feeling a little more active use the state-of-the-art gymnasium to work up a sweat before dining in The Bucket & Spade Cafe.
