Who are Frugi?
Frugi is a Cornish-based ethical children’s clothing and accessories company with a mission to love the planet we play on and advises parents to ‘Buy Less, Buy Better.’ Widely recognisable by bright prints, Frugi clothes have fun interactive appliques, reversible styles and extendable cuffs, sleeves and shoulder straps that allow for the clothes to ‘grow’ with each child. These clever clothes are designed to extend the life of garments so they can be worn for longer before being passed down to friends and family.
Frugi Bloom is the grown-up range offering sustainable styles for pregnancy, breastfeeding and beyond with adjustable features and classic prints that can be passed down and worn time and time again.
Frugi: Buy Less, Buy Better
From its inception, the company has worked with suppliers exclusively operating at a high ethical standard. Designed for longevity,
Frugi ensures its clothes are made positively, for people and the planet and is proud to be certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) by Soil Association
Certification. This strict certification means Frugi clothes are not only better for the environment, but they feel much softer and are more durable because the fibres are left intact and not broken down by the harsh chemicals used in the processing of conventional cotton.
Encouraging customers to reduce, reuse and recycle, all Frugi outerwear, swimwear and accessories are made from old polyethylene (PET) plastic bottles that have been spun into yarn to make a durable, water-proof fabric.
