Encanto themed treasure hunt
My children loved the Disney film Encanto, so I decided to make an activity using the characters today.
We have an Encanto busy book, which has all the main characters, which were the perfect size for me to use.
I followed the storyline from the film, where Mirabel was looking for her long-lost uncle, Bruno. I used our doll's house as the family home in the film and this is where the activity started. Mirabel was standing outside the front of the house with a note addressed to my children asking them to help her find Bruno. The note said they should ask her friends and family for help finding him, starting with Pico the bird, who I had placed on the roof of the house.
Pico had a piece of paper with the first clue, saying that he had seen Bruno with Isabela in my daughter's room. My children raced upstairs to find Isabela, only to find they had just missed Bruno as he had gone with someone else. This theme continued of them just missing Bruno and needing to look for the next character all over the house and garden.
The activity ended with Delores saying she could hear Bruno in my son's bedroom, then they had to search everywhere until they could find him.
My two absolutely loved this Encanto activity, we will certainly be doing it again 🥰
Do you have some Encanto lovers who would enjoy this activity?
